1981 Ocean Alexander 50 Pilothouse

This 50-foot Ocean Alexander pilothouse from 1981 combines classic design with substantial modern upgrades. Built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing 620 horsepower, the boat cruises at 11 knots and is configured for long-distance coastal voyaging.

Below deck, the layout includes three staterooms and two heads, along with a main salon and galley. The accommodations have been updated with new carpeting, lighting, window treatments, and furnishings including a custom settee. The galley features a new stovetop, air fryer, two microwaves, and multiple refrigeration units—two 12-volt and two 110-volt models plus a freezer.

The pilothouse and flybridge have been fitted with current navigational equipment. The boat's systems include a new solar power setup with lithium battery storage, recently serviced engines and generator, new stainless steel exhaust elbows, and a fresh bottom paint job with epoxy barrier coat. The running gear features prop speed components. Additional amenities include a salon television with lift mechanism and a new washer.
