1981 Sumerset Houseboat

This 1981 Sumerset houseboat is a 62-foot aluminum vessel built for extended cruising and comfortable waterside living. Twin 3.0 Mercruiser engines with 61 hours of recent operation power the boat, supported by a 12.5-kW Westerbek generator and 50-amp electrical service. The fuel system includes a 190-gallon capacity, with separate fresh and black water tanks—two 80-gallon tanks for fresh water and one 80-gallon tank for waste.

The interior sleeps six to seven people across multiple sleeping areas: a queen master berth, double and twin bunks, and a sofa sleeper rated for two. The galley is equipped with a Magic four-burner stove, Frigidaire microwave, and Haier refrigerator. A head with shower serves the accommodations. Climate control comes from two rooftop Coleman air-conditioning and heating units, plus a newer mini-split system. A 12-gallon hot water heater supplies the galley and head. Entertainment includes a television and Kenwood stereo.

Recent improvements include a roof recoat, new mini-split air conditioning, new kitchen table and chairs, two new recliners, and a new sofa sleeper. The boat features a front deck enclosure and covered areas with canvas on the flybridge and party-top railing. Front deck furnishings complete the outdoor spaces. The 15-foot beam provides stable accommodation for the length, and the boat is suitable for river and coastal houseboat living.
