1982 Custom Torres Boat Mfg. Flybridge 43

A 43-foot fiberglass flybridge built by Torres Boat Manufacturing in 1982, this explorer-style yacht was commercially operated before undergoing complete restoration in 2022. The boat now functions as both a fishing and family cruising platform, powered by twin Cummins 6CT 8.3-liter diesels producing 430 horsepower each with approximately 500 operating hours. Maximum speed reaches 22 knots, with a cruising speed of 17 knots.

The flybridge accommodates helm operations with a pair of release chairs and foot boards, full navigation capability via three Ray Marine 12-inch touchscreen displays, and dual VHF radios. A mast carries a FLIR night-vision camera dome, spotlight, and 48-mile enclosed antenna radar, along with forward, aft, and side spreader lights. The flybridge features 12,000-BTU air conditioning. A Kobelt single-level mechanical control system manages engine operation, while a side-power bow thruster and Maxwell windlass enhance maneuverability.

The enclosed salon houses custom bench seating and a separate 16,000-BTU air conditioning unit courtesy of Webasto. Below, a cabin provides four bunks with its own 16,000-BTU Webasto air-conditioning system. The boat includes dual Mase inverters rated 15.5 kilowatts each, a five-camera closed-caption security system, and Rupp triple spreader outriggers. A cockpit second station enables fishing operations.
