This 36-foot Jarvis Newman Downeast cruiser was finished by Easom Boatworks in Sausalito. She combines traditional downeast styling with a practical layout: a forward cabin with V-berths, a head with shower to starboard opposite a galley, and a main salon with helm station to starboard and navigator's seat to port. The salon features convertible settee berths on either side, with a teak dining settee and table to port. A generous open cockpit provides ample deck space.
Power comes from a single 210-horsepower Caterpillar diesel engine, delivering a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 12 knots. The boat draws fuel from a diesel tank and maintains a beam of 11 feet across the 36-foot hull.
The yacht has received several upgrades under attentive ownership. Recent improvements include a full-width transom seat, cockpit awning, remote-controlled anchor windlass, an Espar central diesel heating system, a new Isotherm drawer-style refrigerator and freezer, an updated galley stove, refined electronics, and refreshed head and holding tank systems. These additions enhance both comfort and functionality for extended cruising.
