This 1982 Stanley Greenwood 32 Novi combines traditional Downeast design with thoughtful cruising accommodations. Built by the renowned Cape Sable Island builder, she began as a working lobster boat before a professional 1992 conversion transformed her into a capable near-coastal cruiser. Her 32-foot fiberglass hull and 12-foot beam strike a balance between seaworthiness and manageable handling.

Power comes from a 250 hp Volvo TAMD 60C diesel with dry exhaust, turning a four-blade 22-inch prop and delivering a 10-knot cruising speed. A 2002 refit modernized the driveline, shaft tube, steering system, and propeller to include a dripless shaft. The wheelhouse offers 360-degree visibility with custom helm seating and a portside settee for four. A removable helm seat and davit bracket nod to her lobster boat heritage, while custom mahogany trim, sound-dampening headliner, and abundant 12-volt lighting define the interior finish.

The boat sleeps two in a forward V-berth and includes an enclosed marine head with sink. Galley facilities feature a stainless steel sink with hot and cold fresh water and a two-burner stove. The hardback wheelhouse has a folding and sliding door system for flexible access. Onboard electronics include radar, GPS, compass, and an ICOM VHF radio.

Recent maintenance includes a 2025 engine alternator rebuild, 2024 bottom work with epoxy barrier coats and fresh paint, 2023 hull soda blasting to gelcoat, and new house and engine batteries installed in 2023.
