This 1982 Vagabond 47 is a fiberglass sailing yacht measuring 51 feet 8 inches in length with a 13-foot 5-inch beam. Powered by an 85-horsepower Ford Lehman diesel engine, the boat carries a full complement of sailing gear including an in-boom mainsail, roller-furling jib, and furling staysail, all renewed in 2021. Navigation and safety systems include a Furuno wifi radar, Raymarine autopilot and instrumentation, dual ICOM VHF radios, a bow thruster, electric windlass, and a life raft. Solar and wind power generation, a water maker, and a 6-kilowatt generator support extended cruising.
The two-cabin layout centers around a main saloon with an L-shaped dinette, marine air conditioning and heat, and a navigation station with comprehensive electrical panels and workspace. The forward stateroom features a V-berth with storage and cabinetry, while the master stateroom aft offers a double berth with hanging lockers and abundant drawer space. Both cabins have en-suite heads—the forward with a manual toilet and the aft with an electric head and stand-up shower.
The galley is equipped with a Force10 three-burner stove and oven, double stainless steel sink, Isotherm refrigerator and freezer, and a Splendide washer-dryer combination. Accommodations include teak grate flooring throughout, substantial storage in lockers and cabinetry, and 110-volt outlets for comfort systems.
Recent work completed in April 2026 included a bottom job, teak sanding, topside paint, port rebedding with copper framing, and replacement of the teak deck with nonskid surface. The boat carries substantial cruising equipment: dual anchors with electric windlass and chain, davits, and transom bench seating with storage.
