1982 Young Sun Cutter

The Young Sun 35 is a strongly built, double-ended cutter designed for serious cruising. At 35 feet with an 11-foot beam, the hull is fiberglass construction with proven seaworthiness and spacious proportions typical of this classic design. Power comes from a 30-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine.

The boat accommodates multiple berths across its interior layout with one head. The design prioritizes comfort and livability for extended passages, with the roominess characteristic of this model.

Recent improvements include new Garmin electronics, a new mainsail with cover, new batteries, new steering system, new shaft and propeller, and a new exhaust elbow. These upgrades address core systems and reflect ongoing maintenance and modernization.
