1983 Commercial Hull # 1 Key West

This 45-foot fiberglass explorer yacht was built as a commercial fishing platform. The hull features a long-liner design with working deck space and a 40-mile capacity long-line reel equipped for commercial fishing operations.

The single cabin sleeps four in a V-berth and includes a head with shower, sink, and mirror. The galley has a refrigerator, stove, and an ice hold with approximately 8,000 to 10,000-pound capacity. A Power Tec diesel generator rated at 20 kW is available but not currently installed.

The boat is powered by a single 600-horsepower Volvo diesel engine with approximately 2,000 hours of operation. Recent work includes a complete rebuild of the hydraulic steering and rudder hold, all four fuel tanks cleaned and rebuilt with new pick-up lines, reinforced brackets, and check valves. New fuel hoses throughout, rebuilt fuel manifolds for intake and return, and a new forward seal for the clutch. The bilge pump system was rebuilt with new pumps and hoses, intercoolers serviced, and the deck painted with two-part epoxy. The engine was recently serviced and runs at a cruising speed of 10 knots. A flake ice machine is also available but not currently installed.
