This 1983 Endeavour 35 is a fiberglass sloop designed for blue-water cruising, measuring 39 feet in length with a 12-foot beam and a draft of nearly five feet. Built by Endeavour Yachts of Florida and later customized by a professional yacht builder, the boat combines the builder's reputation for heavily laid-up, sturdy construction with personalized modifications. The design balances traditional full-keel characteristics with modern handling, making it suitable for both coastal and offshore sailing.
The boat features one cabin with one head, accommodations designed for short-handed sailing. Below deck, the interior has been substantially refreshed with new headliner paneling and white painted surfaces throughout the hull and lockers. Systems include a 27 horsepower Westerbeke diesel inboard engine with approximately 2,035 hours of service, along with a galley stove, refrigeration, and hot water. An electric windlass with stainless steel support and battery compartment has been installed in the forward cabin.
The deck has undergone comprehensive cosmetic restoration with full sanding, priming, and new Awlgrip semi-gloss paint. Teak has been sanded and varnished, with some sections replaced. Twelve new ports and two new deck hatches with fresh glazing and gaskets have been fitted. Four new sail tracks, lifelines, and stainless steel water and waste deck fittings complete the exterior updates. The mast, boom, and rigging remain in place, along with frames for dodger and bimini.
Recent work also includes a complete transom rebuild, a custom swim platform with stainless swim ladder, and a full hull cosmetic restoration followed by epoxy primer and Awlgrip gloss topcoat. The bottom has been treated with two coats of VC Offshore. The boat is currently without interior cushions or sails but includes a mast and boom, rigging, and some electronics. A survey is available.
