1983 Grand Banks 42 Classic

The Grand Banks 42 Classic is a 42-foot trawler powered by twin Yammer 6LVA-STP diesel engines rated at 370 horsepower each. She cruises at 12 knots and reaches 20 knots at full throttle. The boat features two staterooms, each with its own head and shower, a full salon, and a galley equipped with a stove, dual refrigerator-freezer units, and an icemaker.

Below deck, the accommodations include teak flooring and new carpeting throughout the salon and stateroom areas for comfort on extended passages. The galley and salon are appointed with a television and satellite radio. The boat is outfitted with Ray Marine radar, plotter, and sounder for navigation and fish finding.

Recent improvements include new canvas and isinglass enclosure, a fresh bottom paint job, four new batteries, replaced salon windows, and a new washer-dryer unit. The teak decks remain in good condition. The engines run low hours and the diesel tanks have been sounded.
