1983 Prout 37 Snow Goose

The Prout 37 Snow Goose is a fiberglass catamaran built for serious offshore sailing. This design has proven itself across multiple circumnavigations and was engineered for demanding North Sea conditions, with a robust construction that reflects its ocean-going heritage. The 37-foot hull spans 15.25 feet across the beam, delivering the stability and shallow draft characteristic of the catamaran platform while remaining narrow enough for standard marina slips.

The three-cabin layout provides comfortable accommodation for extended cruising. The boat is powered by a single 29-horsepower Yammer diesel engine, which delivers a cruising speed of 7 knots and efficient long-distance fuel economy typical of the design.

Recent work includes updated bottom paint and engine service. The main engine was replaced with a 2018 Yammer unit. A major refit was completed in 2019, with ongoing updates since, maintaining the boat's systems and seaworthiness.
