2007 Baha Cruisers 340 King Cat

The Alaka'i is a 2007 Baha Cruisers 340 King Cat, a 34-foot fiberglass tunnel catamaran built for stable, comfortable cruising. Twin Yanmar 350-hp turbodiesel engines deliver strong propulsion through stainless steel shafts and four-blade Nibral propellers. The port engine has 1,253 hours; the starboard engine shows 6,200 hours and received new turbos in 2021 and injectors in 2022. A flybridge provides elevated sightlines, and the boat includes a built-in fishing rod holder, electric refrigerator, and swim ladder with handrails.

Recent work completed during an October 2025 dry-dock included new LED navigation, deck, and cabin lights; rebuilt macerator; tightened rudder packing; cleaned bilges; buffed gelcoat; and remounted hand rail with fiberglass bedding. The port engine received a complete replacement. High-pressure turbo oil lines, water lines, and most metal hoses on the starboard engine were replaced in 2024, along with new dual 900 Racor filter assemblies for both engines. A Yanmar mechanic evaluated the starboard engine in October 2025 with no issues noted. New cushions and rear cabin cover were recently installed, and snaps were replaced throughout with fiberglass reinforcement.

Electronics include two Icom VHF radios, a new compass, 12-volt DC and 110-volt AC charging systems with four Interstate 4D batteries, and a 12-volt refrigerator. The boat carries six adult Type-1 life preservers, a life ring with 90 feet of floating line, fenders, and onboard safety equipment. Two new quarter-inch aluminum fuel tanks with sight gauges and 100 feet of prepared rub-rail kit are included in storage. The boat also comes with three large commercial coolers, a power reel, and a comprehensive collection of spare parts and filters.
