1984 Bayfield 40

The Bayfield 40 is a heavy-displacement offshore sailing ketch with solid fiberglass construction designed by Ted Gozzard and built by Bayfield Yachts in Canada. At 40 feet with a 12-foot beam, she combines capable seagoing qualities with comfortable cruising performance, achieving a cruising speed of 6.5 knots under her single Yanmar diesel engine.

Below deck, the yacht offers two cabins and one head, arranged for extended cruising. Throughout the interior, teak joinery contributes to both durability and traditional finish.
