1984 Endeavour Aft Cockpit

This 38-foot Endeavour is a fiberglass cruising yacht built to offshore standards. The boat has been maintained and upgraded over the years, with standing rigging replaced in 2016 and new mainsail and jib installed. The hull and systems reflect consistent care and readiness for extended cruising.

The cockpit is large and well-equipped, centered around an Edson wheel with steering brake and flanked by Lewmar two-speed self-tailing winches. A custom dark red dodger with Mylar windows and sun covers shields the space, while double stainless steel pulpit rails, transom boarding ladder, and additional lifeline handrails provide safety. The cockpit includes a teak table and comfortable cushions.

Below deck are two cabins and one head. The galley holds a Galley Maid stove and oven, deep double stainless sink, Adler Barber 12-volt refrigerator and freezer, and both pressure and manual foot-pump water systems. The Yanmar 3HM diesel engine produces 30 horsepower and has accumulated 3,295 hours; it runs through a MaxProp three-blade feathering propeller and feeds a high-output alternator. Four deep-cycle batteries with 400-amp capacity power ship systems.

Navigation and control include a Garmin multifunction display and GPS chart plotter, ICON VHF radio, Raymarine wheel autopilot, and radar with level support. The sail plan comprises a new mainsail and 110-percent working genoa, a 120-percent genoa, and an asymmetric cruising spinnaker on a mast-stored pole. Deck gear includes a Lewmar electric windlass with remote controls, Bruce bow anchor with 200 feet of chain, fortress aft anchor, and an inflatable dinghy with outboard motor.
