1984 Sea Sprite 34

The Sea Sprite 34 is a 1984 sloop built by CE Ryder to a Luders design. Hull #39 of 45 constructed, this 34-foot fiberglass monohull sits on a full keel and carries a 10.25-foot beam. The boat is powered by a single Universal Diesel engine producing 25 horsepower with direct drive and a Variprop feathering propeller for efficient operation.

The boat is outfitted with a substantial suite of deck equipment and systems. Bronze and stainless hardware throughout includes deck cleats, portlights, and custom teak rub rail. An electric anchor windlass with bronze finish and power washdown system support ground tackle work. Navigation electronics include a Raymarine autopilot, chartplotter, and instruments, plus VHF radio with cockpit speaker and handheld microphone. The sails comprise a newer North 135% RF genoa and an older 150% jib. Lazy jacks, whisker pole system, and double lifelines complete the sail-handling setup.

Below deck systems include AGM batteries, automatic electric bilge pump with engine oil change pump, propane alarm, and stainless steel water heater. The shaft features a PYI dripless seal and flexible coupling. Ground tackle consists of a 25-pound CQR anchor with 5/16-inch chain and 200 feet of 5/8-inch rode. A new stereo system and laptop computer with charts are installed.

Sunbrella covers protect exterior teak, including the dodger, wheel, and handrails. The boat carries a fresh coat of care reflected in its maintained condition and comprehensive equipment package.
