This 1993 Pacific Seacraft 34 is a Crealock-designed cruising sailboat built with fiberglass and finished to enduring standards. The boat was converted from its original yawl rig to a sloop configuration for simplified handling. A 35 horsepower Yanmar diesel provides auxiliary power, delivering a cruising speed of 6.5 knots and a maximum speed of 7.5 knots. The hull features the characteristic canoe stern with generous overhang that defines the design, offering balance between performance and seaworthiness.
The interior accommodates two cabins and one head. The salon is spacious and light, with 6 feet 3 inches of headroom throughout. A U-shaped galley supports extended cruising, and the layout provides sleeping berths for six. The boat is finished with teak joinery, solid bronze fittings, and a hand-laid fiberglass interior.
A comprehensive factory refit was completed in 2011 that modernized key systems. The diesel engine was rebuilt completely, and the fuel tank was replaced along with all supply and return hoses. The shaft and cutless bearing were renewed, and a new PYI dripless seal was installed. The entire exhaust system was replaced and a new throttle control added. A new bulkhead compass and cockpit shower were fitted. Structural work included regalcoting the keel bolts after inspection and epoxy coating the bottom for blister control. The hardtop dodger is new, as is the custom teak and stainless boom gallows. Interior and exterior teak repairs were made, cap rails and trim were recaulked, and all lighting was upgraded to LED. A storm trysail with separate mast track was added. Wheel steering was converted to tiller. A new mainsail was installed in 2026.
