1984 Tartan 37

This 1984 Tartan 37 is a 37-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with a Westerbeke W33 diesel engine rated at 33 horsepower. The engine has approximately 2,500 hours of service and has been well maintained. A reconditioned heat exchanger, engine mounts, and hoses have been installed.

Over the past two years, the boat has received extensive upgrades across its systems. The sails include a new triradial square weave Dacron mainsail with new boom and gooseneck bushings, lazy jacks, and lazy bag. Standing and running rigging has been replaced. The electrical system features a 300-amp lithium house bank, two AGM batteries for starter and windlass use, a Victron DC/DC charger, and a Victron MPPT solar charge controller. Solar capacity totals 460 watts across two arrays. Navigation and communication equipment includes an Em-Trak Class B AIS, Uniden VHF radio, B&G Vulcan 9 chartplotter, Raymarine autopilot, and Starlink connectivity. A Lofrans windlass, Campbell Sailor propeller, and Rocna 33-pound anchor are installed. Propane systems include two tanks with a detector. Safety equipment encompasses carbon monoxide sensors, a lifesling, bilge pump, and mast climbing gear. All systems are networked through NMEA 2000.

The boat is equipped with a 9-foot Duras dinghy, a Mercury 5HP outboard with fewer than 3 hours of use, and a Honda 2HP outboard. A reconditioned centreboard and fresh water and diesel storage containers are included. Spare parts on hand include a new starter and alternator in their original packaging.
