1984 Transpacific Marine Ketch

This 1984 Transpacific Marine ketch is a 49-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for long-range cruising and ocean passages. Powered by a 135-horsepower Ford Lehman diesel engine, she achieves a cruising speed of 6 knots and maximum speed of 8 knots. The yacht features a tabernacle mast suited for intercoastal work and carries a full suite of sails including main with battens, storm jib, tri-sail, two spinnakers, and a stored mizzen sail.

The interior comprises three cabins and two heads. The yacht is equipped with a 2000-watt Heart inverter, six 6-volt Trojan batteries, and plumbing for both washer and dryer. Anchoring gear includes a primary bow anchor with 420 feet of chain and a 65-pound CQR, plus an aft anchor with 200 feet of chain and a 45-pound CQR. An 8-man survival raft is on board.

Recent upgrades include a new freshwater flush system for the engine, replacement of all cabin windows and hatch glass in 2021, and a bottom paint with upgraded system bonding and new through-hulls for deck drains in 2022. The 110/12-volt electrical system was rebuilt in 2000. The generator requires repairs.
