1985 Beneteau First 375

The 1985 Beneteau First 375 is a 37-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with a beam of just over 12 feet, built for comfortable cruising and capable offshore performance. The boat is powered by a Volvo Penta 2003TB diesel engine with 43 horsepower, installed new in 2020 with only 25 hours of running time. A folding three-blade propeller and stainless steel shaft, both added in 2017, support efficient auxiliary propulsion.

The deck is outfitted with a Loftrans Cayman windlass, Rocna 44 anchor with 200 feet of chain, and a Fortress anchor with rope. Eight Lewmar winches—four self-tailing and four standard—handle the sail plan, which includes a mainsail with two reef points and lazy jacks, a 110 furling genoa, and a spinnaker with pole. New halyards have been fitted, and a Tides Marine sail track improves versatility.

Navigation and communication are handled by a Raymarine Axiom 12 with integrated radar, complemented by dedicated wind, depth, and autopilot instruments. The electrical system offers 12V and 110V AC power with a 50-foot shore power cord; a new battery charger was installed in 2023. All interior lighting has been converted to LED, including the masthead light.

Below deck, the galley includes a propane cooktop with oven and a 12V refrigerator, while a 6-gallon water heater provides hot water via electric or engine power. An aft head with wet shower serves the accommodations. New headliners have been installed in the forward V-berth and aft cabin. An inflatable tender with a 3.5 Mercury outboard is included.
