The Camper & Nicholsons 58 is a 59-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built on a hull design that gained recognition as the foundation for the Clipper 60. She carries pale blue topsides with varnished bulwarks and white painted spars, presenting the aesthetic of a classic ocean-going cruiser. A single 133 hp Perkins diesel engine provides auxiliary power.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates four cabins and one head. The interior has been extensively refreshed, including a new master bedroom suite, updated galley and heads with new worktops, renewed salon cushions and seating, fresh carpets, new windows in the main saloon, and modern lighting throughout. Climate control includes a Webasto heating system installed in 2021 and a serviced air conditioning setup. The electrical infrastructure has been upgraded with a new inverter, complete battery replacement, and comprehensive system updates.
Navigation and deck systems reflect significant recent investment: radar and chart plotters, upgraded VHF and Bluetooth radio, wind and speed gauges, and navigation lights have all been renewed or installed. The rig has been comprehensively overhauled with new forestay and backstay, new Genoa and inner forestay sails, renewed running rigging, and replaced blocks throughout as of 2022. Mast and spars were painted in 2021. Deck equipment includes a modern electric windlass, new guard rail wires and fittings, and fresh awnings. The hull was painted in 2021, and new chrome-accented deck vents were added in 2023.
Mechanical systems have been serviced and upgraded: the engine and generator, heating and cooling equipment, seacocks and through-hull fittings, and bilge systems including new automatic pumps and an emergency hand pump. A new dinghy outboard engine was installed and serviced in 2021. Water and fuel monitoring systems, pressure pumps, and deck cushions complete the refit work undertaken during current ownership.
