1985 C&C 33

The 1985 C&C 33 is a proven racer-cruiser design built by C&C Yachts, known for quality construction and strong performance in both competitive and cruising roles. This 33-foot sloop has a fiberglass hull, 10.5-foot beam, and is powered by an 18 hp Yanmar diesel engine.

The boat accommodates one cabin with a single head. Recent upgrades to the sailing inventory include a 2024 UK X-Drive fully battened main, a 2022 UK X-Drive cruising genoa, a 2022 UK racing genoa, and a Dacron storm jib, along with spinnakers and spare sails. The standing rigging and rod rigging were replaced in 2022 by Blackline Marine. Navigation equipment includes a 2021 Raymarine MFD with integrated wind and speed instruments on a SeaTalk NMEA 2000 network, and a 2021 Uniden VHF. Deck systems feature Dyneema lifelines, a Dyneema baby stay with stowable purchase, a 2023 hydraulic aft backstay adjuster, and a Harken mainsheet traveller system. A custom clear rain cover spans from dodger to bimini.

Below deck, the interior upholstery was fully replaced in 2020. A Nova Kool compressor assembly services the galley fridge-freezer, and forced-air diesel heating was added. Electrical systems include a 2025 house battery bank of two Group 31s, a 2023 Group 27 start battery, a ProMariner 30-amp charger with Blue Seas ACR, a 100-watt Rouge solar panel, and a Victron remote panel. The 2022 engine service included transmission replacement, new mounts, drive plate, damper, and exhaust riser.

The hull received blister repair in 2026 with five coats of barrier epoxy and two coats of Interlux Micron Black. The cutlass bearing was replaced in 2021, and the macerator in 2026. The yacht carries a Rocna 10kg anchor, a Nakishima three-blade bronze prop with a spare two-blade bronze prop, and a 2022 Yanmar transmission replacement. Full records document all work performed.
