The C&C 33 Mark II is a Canadian-built racer-cruiser produced in the mid-1980s, designed to perform in both competitive sailing and coastal cruising. With a 6-foot draft, the hull is built to point high and carry speed, while the interior offers a convenient layout with good headroom and a spacious feel below deck. The hull combines selective use of balsa core in the forward panels with conventional hand-laid fiberglass construction throughout the rest of the hull.
This 1985 example has received substantial updates and upgrades. Navigation and instrumentation include a 2020 Raymarine Axiom chart plotter and a 2020 Raymarine i50/i60 instrument pack displaying speed, depth, and wind data. The electrical system has been modernized with 2025 lithium batteries and a Victron DC-DC charger, supported by a 2025 inverter rated at 1000 watts and 2022 solar panels mounted on the bimini. Cruising comfort is enhanced by a 2022 diesel furnace and a 2023 Nova Cool ice box kit.
The boat is fitted with a Yanmar diesel engine of 18 horsepower. Deck equipment includes a 2020 dodger, bimini top, sail cover, and two side panels, along with 2020 cockpit speakers and winter covers for both mast-in and mast-out configurations. A steel cradle is included.
Bottom work was completed in 2021 with stripping, new epoxy, and fresh bottom paint applied.
