A 1985 aluminum barge originally built for military use and fully customized in 2024. The 40-foot boat measures 12 feet in beam and is powered by two 200 hp Yamaha HPDI 2-stroke engines with approximately 1,000 hours of operation. Maximum speed is 12 knots, with a cruising speed of 10 knots.
The barge is rated for approximately 10 tons of cargo capacity. Below deck, there is 1,000 cubic feet of storage space with headroom just over 4 feet, capable of accommodating 12 full-size pallets. The boat features a large insulated and refrigerated compartment as well as an additional removable refrigerated compartment measuring 4 feet by 6 feet by 8 feet. A hydraulic knuckle crane, professionally overhauled, is installed for cargo handling.
The pilothouse is climate controlled and equipped with a microwave and mini-refrigerator. A new 12 kw Kubota generator provides electrical power. The boat is USCG documented and registered under 15 gross tons, meeting specific regulatory requirements for commercial cargo operations between U.S. and BVI waters.
