2023 Modern Struktures MS400

The 2023 Modern Struktures MS400 is a 40-foot aluminum houseboat built on 24-inch aluminum pontoons with an open-concept interior layout. The hull features a powder-coated aluminum composite exterior and composite decking, designed for low maintenance. Power comes from a single 50 hp Yamaha outboard engine. The boat is equipped with shore power options of either 30 or 50 amp capacity and includes a Purasan waste treatment system with no holding tanks onboard.

The living space centers on a full-size kitchen and modern open-plan layout. A residential-style bathroom with quality fixtures serves the accommodations. Structural insulated panels with three inches of closed-cell foam insulation provide thermal efficiency throughout. The climate system includes a new split air-conditioning unit.

An expansive rooftop deck extends the usable living area, ideal for outdoor relaxation or entertaining. The aluminum square stock frame paired with composite construction materials keeps maintenance requirements minimal. No generator is fitted to this model.
