1985 J Boats J/24

This 1985 J/24 is a competitive racing boat with a strong track record on Flathead Lake. The hull is fiberglass, and the yacht comes with two outboard engines—a Tohatsu 4-horsepower and a Yamaha 3.5-horsepower 2-stroke, both recently serviced. A dual-axle trailer is included, described as solidly built and road-worthy with an extension, bow ladder, and new rubber.

The boat carries an extensive sail inventory: a newer main suit plus a full complement of 5- to 7-year-old sails including mains, genoas, jibs, and spinnakers in bags. Racing equipment is aboard, along with barely used cushions. The running rigging is new, and the boat includes mooring lines with snubbers, a tiller extension, running lights, battery and charger, and a speed puck.

Additional equipment comprises a porta potty and a substantial collection of spare parts from another J/24: a mast, boom, bow and stern pulpits, spinnaker pole, stanchions, winches, and numerous cleats. The bottom paint is due for renewal. Both outboard engines have been recently serviced, and all gear has been kept in dry storage.
