1985 J Boats J/30

This 1985 J/30 is a 30-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built on the classic J Boats design. The hull combines sleek proportions with solid construction, making it well-suited for both racing and cruising in a range of conditions.

Power comes from a Yamment 2GM20FB diesel engine. Recent work on the engine includes a fresh water pump installed in 2022, along with a new exhaust elbow and custom-fabricated radiator pipes.

The boat comes equipped with multiple sails. The J/30's compact dimensions—11.17 feet of beam on a 30-foot length—support responsive handling both under sail and motor.
