Designed by Frank Butler as a performance cruiser, this 1988 Catalina 30 balances racing capability with comfortable cruising. The Tall Rig model carries extra sail area for improved performance under canvas. The boat features a 25 hp Universal diesel engine and a 10-foot-10-inch beam.

Accommodation centers on generous interior headroom at 6 feet 4 inches, making the cabin comfortable for taller sailors. The layout includes a single head and accommodations designed around a practical cruising interior. Air conditioning is fitted. Deck features are arranged with all lines leading to the cockpit for single-handed operation, supported by pedestal steering, a large bimini top, and a swim ladder.

The sailing inventory includes a furling headsail and spinnaker. The furling headsail, interior cushions, and port lights were replaced within the past five years, with the headsail seeing minimal use. The hull received bottom work in 2023.
