This 1985 Mason 33 is a classic sloop built on a solid fiberglass hull with laid and caulked teak decks over a fiberglass sandwich core. The boat carries a 2012 Yanmar 3GM 30F diesel engine rated at 27 hp with 300 hours on it. The housetop is fiberglass with non-skid surface, and the bottom was painted in 2024. A swim ladder with teak steps provides convenient water access.
Below deck, the layout flows from a forward vee berth with chain locker to a head aft on the port side. The starboard side includes a hanging locker. The salon features straight settees running port and starboard with a nav station to port, while the galley sits aft to starboard and includes a refrigerator/freezer and Origo 2-burner alcohol stove with oven. Ten stainless steel opening ports—six at 5" by 12" and four at 4" by 12"—plus a dorade and two opening deck hatches provide ventilation and light.
Systems include 35 gallons of fuel in a stainless steel tank, 30 gallons of fresh water across two fiberglass tanks, and a 30-gallon holding tank with y-valve and deck pumpout. Navigation and communication gear includes a Northstar 951X GPS, Raytheon R20X radar, ICOM IC-M127 VHF radio, and Ritchie compass. An Autohelm ST 4000 autopilot is on board though it requires attention.
