1985 Ocean Alexander 39 Sedan

This 42-foot Ocean Alexander 39 Sedan combines classic sedan bridge design with substantial modern upgrades. The boat features two staterooms and a spacious main salon and galley, with a well-proportioned layout suited to entertaining. Access is via a large swim platform with transom door, leading to a teak cockpit and into the salon finished with upgraded upholstery and satin teak joinery. The galley is positioned as an up-galley with sightlines to the salon and cockpit.

Power comes from twin Caterpillar 3116 diesel engines producing 300 horsepower each. The boat carries an Onan EQD 9 kW diesel genset for auxiliary power and Hurricane Hydronic diesel heating for climate control.

The boat has undergone significant structural and systems work. A 3-foot integrated hull and swim grid extension was added, bringing the overall length to 42 feet. The radar arch is power-folding, and navigation and piloting are handled by an upgraded Simrad electronics package. A SeaWise davit system is installed on the transom with a Novurania DL rigid inflatable tender powered by a 30-horsepower Honda outboard.
