This 1985 Pearson 36-2 is a fiberglass sloop with a proven design that combines seaworthiness with comfortable cruising accommodations. The boat has been maintained in freshwater since 2011 and is powered by a Yammer 3HM35F diesel engine with 34 horsepower. The engine was rebuilt in 2016 and has approximately 268 hours of service since that work.
The cockpit offers generous seating with bench configuration and includes a full suite of navigation electronics: an Edison wheel with compass, autopilot with below-deck drive, depth and speed displays, wind instrument, and an integrated Garmin GPS chartplotter. The helm layout is designed for both captain and crew comfort.
Below decks, the layout includes two private staterooms, a full galley, navigation station, and enclosed head. The forward V-berth has a solid door, hanging locker, opening portholes, and both 110-volt and 12-volt outlets. The aft stateroom to starboard features a double berth, solid door, hanging locker, and opening portholes. The galley runs along the starboard side and includes a double stainless-steel sink, cold-plate refrigerator with freezer, gimbal-mounted stove with oven, and extensive cabinet storage. The navigation station features VHF radio, electrical panel, Bluetooth stereo system, battery monitoring, and power inverter. Teak trim and LED lighting throughout the interior create a warm finish. Additional seating includes a lounge sofa and a large U-shaped dinette with conversion berth and table storage. The enclosed head has a manual toilet, sink with shower wand, and medicine cabinet.
The boat comes with a custom canvas cover for storage and features a spacious lazarette, teak folding table, and comfortable proportions throughout.
