The Tollycraft 48 Cockpit Motor Yacht is a classic fiberglass cruiser built for serious offshore capability and comfortable extended-range cruising. The design, penned by Ed Monk Jr., features a semi-displacement hull with sharp entry, deep forefoot, and full-length keel for prop protection. The 15-foot, 4-inch beam and shallow 3-foot, 2-inch draft balance stability with access to diverse anchorages and shallow-draft destinations. Twin Caterpillar 3208 turbo diesel engines deliver efficient cruising in the 14 to 16-knot range with excellent fuel economy and range.

The two-cabin, two-head interior layout provides ample space for extended cruising and liveaboard living. The teak-trimmed accommodations include a full galley with three-burner stove and oven, dual stainless steel sinks, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and generous counter and storage space. The salon offers comfortable day-to-day living, while the two separate heads serve privacy and convenience.

Equipment reflects years of thoughtful upgrades and maintenance. The boat carries a Northern Lights genset (2,442 hours), three-zone air conditioning with separate cabin heating, dual Simrad GPS/plotter systems, Simrad radar, autopilot, Raymarine depth finder, and dual VHF radios. Safety and comfort systems include Vacuflush heads, a Victron battery charger, ProSine inverter, electric trim tabs, Warn electric dinghy hoist, Sea Fire suppression system, and a mounted life raft. Recent work includes new shaft seals, cutlass bearings, and bottom paint in 2026; isinglass replacement in 2025; battery upgrades and water pump service in 2024; and a genset fuel pump in 2023.
