1987 Hi-Star 48 Sundeck

The Hi-Star 48 Sundeck is a 1987 motor yacht built on a modified-V hull with Airex-cored sides and solid fiberglass bottom. Powered by twin 750-horsepower Caterpillar diesel engines, she cruises at 18 knots and reaches 22 knots at speed. The design features a moderate beam, wide side decks for easy foredeck access, and an expansive aft deck. A hardtop, molded bow pulpit, and aft deck wet bar are standard to the design, along with a notably well-arranged engine room.

The interior follows traditional all-teak construction typical of Asian motor yachts of this era. The two-stateroom layout prioritizes space and comfort, with generous cabins, a full-size dinette forward, galley, and two heads. The forward head compartment does not include a separate shower stall.

Equipment aboard includes an 8-kilowatt Onan generator, 2500-watt inverter, Vacuflush heads, washer and dryer, and a new windlass with all-chain rode. The battery bank was replaced in 2023, and the genset was recently serviced. A 10-foot RIB tender with crane is included. Exterior furniture is new.
