1986 Crealock 40

This 1986 Crealock 40 is a fiberglass cruising yacht built for offshore passages and extended coastal voyages. Designed by Bob Crealock, the 40-footer features a forgiving hull form paired with a deep cockpit, substantial storage, and a comfortable interior suited to passagemaking or liveaboard use. The boat carries a single 57-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine.

Recent upgrades enhance both functionality and longevity. Standing and running rigging was replaced in 2022, and the sails include a 2015 suit in good condition with a 130% genoa and storm sail. A new Garmin 943sv touchscreen was installed in 2024, and bottom paint was freshly applied that September. The cabin top and cockpit were painted in 2025. A dripless shaft seal offers low-maintenance operation.

The boat carries two house batteries and a dedicated starting battery. The original rigging and cosmetic work completed in recent years establish a solid foundation for the next owner.
