1986 Hunter 31

This 1986 Hunter 31 is a fiberglass coastal cruiser built on a design known for spacious interiors and balanced handling. The boat measures 31 feet in length with a beam of nearly 11 feet, carried well aft to create a generous T-shaped cockpit. Below deck, headroom reaches 6 feet 3 inches throughout.

The interior accommodates up to six or seven berths across a forward V-berth, aft cabin, and convertible salon dinette. The galley features a U-shaped layout with a deep sink and icebox, and there is a dedicated navigation station. A full enclosed head with shower capability is included.

Power comes from a 16-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. Motor mounts were replaced in 2025, and a new battery charger was installed in 2026. The boat carries three sails: main, jib, and genoa, with the jib refurbished in 2025. A front sail roller furler is fitted for easy deployment and furling.
