The Moonen 85 is a 93.50-foot steel motor yacht built in 1986 by the respected Dutch builder, designed by Diana Yacht Design. Its classic exterior features a rounded stern and flared bow, proportions that deliver strong seakeeping qualities alongside comfort in open water. Two Baudouin diesel engines of 920 horsepower total drive the yacht to a cruising speed of 9 knots and a maximum speed of 11 knots.
The yacht accommodates eight guests across three cabins: an owner's suite aft, a double guest cabin with matrimonial bed, and a third cabin with twin bunks. All guest cabins include private heads, entertainment systems, and air conditioning. The main saloon has been fully redesigned with new seating, a custom dining table, ambient lighting, and entertainment center. A forward dining area and separate crew quarters for four complete the interior layout. The galley features Miele appliances including an oven, cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher, alongside stainless steel refrigeration and a wine cooler.
The flybridge has been recently updated with a bar and grill, a convertible table that transforms into a large sunpad, and teak decking throughout. An expansive sundeck forward and a wide cockpit with round table provide additional outdoor space. Navigation systems include dual Simrad radars, plotters, autopilot, and full instrumentation from Raymarine and Simrad. Two Mase generators of 45 kW each, a desalinator, and Searock stabilizers support extended cruising. A major refit during 2023 and 2024 encompassed new engines, generators, air conditioning, electrical systems, and interior finishes.
