The 1996 ABD 90 Explorer is an aluminum-hulled motor yacht purpose-built for long-range cruising. Twin Caterpillar diesel engines deliver 620 horsepower and support a cruising speed of 9 knots. The yacht's deep-sea capability is enhanced by hull upgrades including zero-speed stabilizers, lead-ballasted beavertails, and a custom extended bulbous bow, all designed to maintain stability and comfort in heavy conditions.

The accommodations include five cabins and five heads. The upper deck features an owner's suite with private covered deck, dedicated office, and separate bathrooms.
