This Santa Cruz 70 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built in 1986, 68 feet long with a 15-foot beam. The boat is powered by a single Yammer diesel engine of 74 horsepower. The keel, rudder, mast, rigging, sails, and safety equipment have all been upgraded. A carbon mast and custom appendages are fitted to enhance performance. Current racing sails and modern electronics are included, along with a Starlink communication system for offshore use.

The interior layout prioritizes offshore cruising and racing function. The galley sits on the port side, with a raised dining table and L-shaped seating opposite. Multiple sleeping berths are distributed throughout: four adjustable berths on the port side aft, one adjustable berth on the port side forward, a double berth on the starboard side aft, two adjustable berths on the starboard side aft, and one adjustable berth on the starboard side forward. An enclosed head is located forward on the port side.

The boat comes with a full inventory of spare sails, rigging, and parts stored in a dedicated shipping container for campaign support. This Santa Cruz 70 has a documented racing history spanning multiple decades of offshore competition.
