1986 Sea Ranger 47 Pilothouse

The 1986 Sea Ranger 47 Pilothouse is a fiberglass trawler built for extended cruising and comfortable entertaining. At just over 47 feet long with a 15-foot beam, she combines a full-displacement hull design with dual Ford Lehman diesel engines producing 270 horsepower total, delivering a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 8 knots. Twin 135 hp engines and a cruising range of 800 miles make her well-suited for longer passages.

The interior accommodates four cabins and three heads across a thoughtful layout. Two queen cabins each feature ensuite heads, while additional sleeping space is available in the pilothouse and salon areas. A day head in the salon is accessible from the pilothouse, salon, and galley, offering convenient circulation throughout. The galley is fully equipped with granite countertops, a double sink, a 4-burner propane stove with oven, and a full-size refrigerator installed in 2024. A water filter system is included.

The flybridge is fully enclosed and was recently rebuilt in 2025. Wide side decks facilitate line handling during docking and general movement around the boat. An electric windlass with 290 feet of chain rode aids in anchoring operations. Navigation electronics include Garmin multifunction display, radar, and autopilot accessible from both the pilothouse and flybridge.
