1987 Bertram 37 Convertible

This 1987 Bertram 37 Convertible is a fiberglass sportfish built for serious offshore capability. Twin Yanmar diesel engines deliver 880 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 20 knots and a top speed of 25 knots. The boat was repowered in 2010 and features a 13-foot-3-inch beam, providing solid seakeeping and stability.

Recent mechanical work includes new fuel lines installed throughout in 2024, a new Bennett trim tab pump added in 2025, and a new port transmission fitted in 2022. The starboard transmission is operational but will require rebuilding. The engines and systems reflect ongoing maintenance and upgrades over the past several years.

A survey was completed within the last year. Termite activity was discovered and treated with Cypher TC; the hull structure remains intact. This is a working convertible ready for fishing or cruising applications.
