1987 Bertram Classic
About This Yacht
This 1987 Bertram Classic is a 46.6-foot fiberglass convertible built for serious offshore work. The twin 8V92 Detroit diesel engines have been fully rebuilt with approximately 200 hours since overhaul, delivering cruising speeds around 22 knots and a top end near 28 knots.
The boat has undergone substantial modernization in recent years. New Garmin electronics and a fresh DDEC engine management system support electronic controls throughout. The flybridge has been updated with new instrumentation, and a 2020 Phazer generator provides auxiliary power. Steering components are new, and the cabin interior features new upholstery alongside various custom improvements. New isinglass and a 1,000-pound forward davit complete the recent work.
