The 1987 Kadey-Krogen 36 Manatee is a fiberglass trawler built with an efficient single Yammer diesel engine producing 170 horsepower, replaced in 2025 with only 1,100 hours. The boat cruises at 7 knots and is equipped with bow and stern thrusters for confident maneuvering. A standout feature is the pneumatic stabilizer system, which significantly improves comfort in varied sea conditions. The wide beam extends forward throughout the hull, creating generous living quarters that are uncommon for a 36-foot design.
