1987 Morris Linda

This Morris Linda 28 is a Chuck Paine design built in the mid-1980s by Morris Yachts. The boat features a full keel with a cutaway forefoot, a combination that provides solid tracking in heavy seas while remaining responsive in tighter maneuvering. At just over 28 feet in length with a beam of 9.2 feet, the design has earned a strong reputation as a capable small cruising sailboat.

Powered by an 18-horsepower Volvo diesel engine, the boat handles both under sail and power. The fiberglass hull has been maintained with professional care, with seasonal use in Massachusetts waters over the past 12 years and earlier sailing in Maine, where it was stored indoors each winter.
