2006 Alerion Express 28

The Alerion Express 28 is a Carl Schumacher design that established the modern standard for elegant day sailing. Built with a fiberglass hull, the boat features a fin keel and spade rudder engineered for exceptional maneuverability and stability. A 15-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine with sail drive provides reliable auxiliary power, while the Hoyt jib boom enhances off-wind performance. The design excels under sail and is laid out for easy single-handed operation.

The boat sleeps four across a single cabin with a full marine head. The cockpit is outfitted with cushions and includes a dodger for weather protection.

Equipment includes three sets of sails—one composite set with 120% genoa—along with B&G GPS and VHF, Raymarine autopilot, Raymarine instruments, and a winter cover.
