1987 Ocean Alexander 48 Sedan

This 1987 Ocean Alexander 48 Sedan is a 55-foot fiberglass sedan bridge yacht powered by twin Detroit diesel engines producing 900 horsepower combined. The boat spans 15.5 feet at the beam and accommodates two cabins with two heads, making it suitable for extended cruising or living aboard.

The interior features a comfortable layout with recent upgrades including new brightwork in the galley, master stateroom, VIP stateroom, and head flooring completed in 2025. New salon carpeting was installed in 2025, and custom cabinetry and furnishings are arranged on the aft deck. All interior and exterior lighting has been converted to LED as of 2022.

Exterior work includes a fresh polyurethane paint job applied during 2024–2025, new non-skid surfaces on the decks, swim platform, and flybridge completed in the same period, and professional annual maintenance of the cap rail brightwork. The bottom received fresh paint and new zincs in 2025. A complete Garmin electronics package was installed in 2024. Additional features include a bow thruster, newer Sunbrella cushions, and a fore deck sun pad.

Mechanical updates include fuel injectors replaced in 2025. The boat has been freshwater-kept throughout its ownership history and shows the results of consistent maintenance and upgrades across systems, structure, and accommodations.
