This 1987 Ocean Alexander is a 48-foot diesel-powered motoryacht with twin Detroit engines producing 900 horsepower. Built as a custom yacht for an original owner, it has remained with only three owners total and has been maintained exclusively in freshwater. The fiberglass hull carries a 15.5-foot beam, providing a stable platform for coastal cruising.
The yacht features two cabins and two heads, arranged for comfortable day and overnight passage making. Accommodations include a master stateroom, VIP stateroom, galley, and main salon. Recent work on brightwork and interior finishes spans the master cabin, VIP cabin, galley, and head areas. New carpet was installed in the main salon in 2025, and the galley received updated brightwork that same year.
Mechanical and systems updates are recent and comprehensive. All LED lighting was installed in 2022. New Garmin electronics were added in 2024, and the injectors were replaced in 2025. Deck surfaces, including non-skid areas on the main decks, swim step, and bridge, were renewed in 2024 and 2025. The bottom received fresh paint and zincs in 2025. Upper helm cabinets feature new smoked black plexiglass. Exterior paint in Imron urethane was refreshed in 2024 and 2025, with the cap rail brightwork maintained on an annual four-coat schedule.
