This 1987 Posillipo Technema 52 is an Italian-built motor yacht designed by Giovanni Zuccon. At 52 feet with a 16-foot beam, the yacht features a distinctive flowing fiberglass hull both inside and out, characteristic of Zuccon's sculptural approach to design. Twin Detroit Diesel 8V92 engines producing 650 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of 24 knots. New turbochargers and aftercoolers have been installed, with the port engine rebuilt five years ago and the starboard engine carrying 1,700 hours. An Onan 20kw generator with 1,000 hours provides auxiliary power.
The interior arranges two private cabins, each with en-suite facilities, alongside a salon with generous windows and dining areas. The galley is fully equipped for extended cruising. A flybridge serves as both an additional helm station and social space, while exterior decks provide ample room for entertaining and relaxation.
The yacht is equipped with four Marineair reverse cycle units for climate control and four battery chargers with an inverter system. A 40-gallon hot water heater was replaced five years ago. Electronics include a Furuno chartplotter and radar, a Garmin chartplotter, and two Horizon VHF radios. A spare set of new Nibrel propellers and a Raritan sanitation system are included.
