A 1987 Topaz 44 Sportfisherman built with a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Detroit diesel engines producing 1,130 total horsepower. The boat cruises at 20 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 23 knots, making it capable for both fishing and extended passages.

The interior accommodates two cabins and one head, with teak and holly flooring throughout. A functional galley, salon for dining and entertaining, and an icemaker that produces 800 pounds of ice daily complete the layout. Electric windlass simplifies anchoring operations.

Recent work completed in 2025 includes a rebuild of both Detroit engines (100 hours since completion), installation of two new air conditioning units, and new outriggers with triple center riggers. Additional updates include teak helm chairs and a stainless fighting chair. The boat also carries a Northern Lights generator, a hardtop installed in 2002, and the hull was last painted in 2002.
