This 1998 Viking 43 is a composite sportfish built for serious fishing and extended cruising. Twin Detroit diesel engines, each producing 625 horsepower, deliver a maximum speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots. The boat features two helm stations and a full complement of fishing and navigation gear, including dual riggers with center rigger, outriggers, tower-mounted GPS, newer Garmin GPS with radar, autopilot, VHF radios, and underwater lights. Additional equipment includes a searchlight with remote control, electric windlass with remote, life raft, and rebuilt 8-kilowatt Onan generator.
The interior includes one cabin with a single head. The boat has undergone a comprehensive overhaul that included engine rebuilds and upgrades to the air conditioning system across multiple units, with 36,000 BTU capacity at the helm station and 10,000 BTU in the salon. A new saltwater pump and rebuilt fishbox macerator pump are also part of the recent work. The topsides have been recently repainted and are in sound condition.
