1988 Beneteau First Class 12

This 1988 Beneteau First Class 12 is a racer-cruiser designed by Group Finot with a fiberglass hull reinforced by carbon fiber internal frames and honeycomb bulkheads. The 39-foot yacht features an IOR monotype hull built for performance and seaworthiness.

Power comes from a newly installed electric engine, paired with a modern sail plan comprising a Doyle main, Sobstad 135% genoa, and staysail rig with a Doyle 60% jib. Navigation equipment includes an Autohelm radar, Horizon chartplotter GPS, and full nav systems at the helm.

The interior provides three cabins and one head, with refrigeration and an LPG stove and oven for cruising comfort. The 12.5-foot beam gives the boat stability and livable volume across its three-cabin layout.
