The 1988 Beneteau Oceanis 390 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat designed by Philippe Briand, measuring 37.7 feet with a beam of 12.8 feet. Built for comfortable offshore and holiday sailing, she combines spacious accommodation with practical handling that allows single or two-person operation. Power comes from a Volvo Penta 2003 diesel engine producing 28 horsepower, with approximately 2,500 engine hours on the clock.
Below deck, the boat offers three cabins and two heads with showers. The forward master cabin has a double berth and good headroom; two aft cabins each contain double beds. The saloon is bright and airy, flooded with light from four panoramic tinted skylights, with seating for six around the dining table. A fully equipped L-shaped galley includes a stove with oven, double sink, and refrigerator. The navigation station is outfitted with a chart table and dedicated electronics panels.
Deck and sailing systems are well equipped for cruising. A Volvo Penta diesel windlass handles an anchor and 50 meters of chain. The masthead sloop rig carries a mainsail from 2010 in good condition, a 120% genoa from 2010 that has been restitched, and a hank-on staysail. Standing rigging was renewed in 2009 and running rigging was renewed the same year. Canvas work including the cockpit tent was refreshed in 2020. Sheet control is managed from the cockpit via multiple Lewmar winches.
Navigation and safety electronics include a Raymarine C120 chartplotter with AIS and radar, Raymarine instrument suite for wind and depth, Standard Horizon VHF with AIS, autopilot, and compass. The boat is equipped with a 4-person life raft, EPIRB, and standard safety gear. A 3.5-horsepower Tohatsu outboard and 3-meter Zodiac tender are included. Annual haul-outs have been performed regularly; the most recent service in June–September 2025 included engine service, hull and propeller maintenance, anode replacement, and water pump replacement. Battery banks were replaced in 2025.
